Walkers are catered for with numerous walks available through the Silvermines Mountains, the Clare Glens, the Slieve Felim way (18 Miles) and the Lough Derg way (20 Miles) all finishing locally. If you would like to take a more leisurely stroll there are a large variety of local walks from 1 mile in length upward, which should suit everyone.
Cycling is well catered for with 3 new cycling routes established and centered in the Nenagh area.

Other popular cycling routes include the Clare Glens cycle (30 Miles), the HolyCross cycle (28 Miles)and the Keeper Hill cycle (36 Miles).
